| Why do you define yourself as a Legal Designer? | I’m a lawyer and also I make drawings (specially comics), I decided to mix them two years ago (2017) and it worked so good that I keep doing it until now. In 2018 I found that there were a lot of companions doing somethig alike but they call it legal design so I started studying legal design and keep applying my skills to explain laws. |

Present yourself through one of your projects | I love how my drawings look in Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/derecho-urbanistico-divertido-marelisa-blanco-perez/ It’s easy to read as you have to scroll down and I have some of those, but this one: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/que-es-la-lista-viernes-marelisa-blanco-perez/ was for an special project, the “lista viernes” was a project made for protecting the spaniard’s privacy; last year our spanish privacy law add a new article to our electoral law and made a kind of “cambridge analytica” for political parties, so they can legally use our data on the internet to send us political propaganda to our devices without penalties, a group of lawyers decided to take action and made this project and also filed an appeal to the constitutional court. | Tell us a little about the work you just shared, so we understand how to present it to the community. | I think I did in the last part because I’m doing a few things all at the same time but to summarize, I make comics, mind maps, infographics, illustrations all to explain laws and make them easier to the public. |
